ARTIFICIAL GRASS BASICS

Properties that are attractive, yet vibrant, with lush green lawns, that require minimal water, money, and time to maintain, undoubtedly stand out amongst other landscaped properties that are less environmentally friendly and costly to maintain.

Landscaping that demands a ton of time, money, and resources in order to prevent them from browning and dying is an ongoing challenge. When well-planned, an artificial grass turf system will look consistently beautiful year-round, making artificial grass well worth the investment.

When thoughtfully installed, artificial turf will add curb appeal and positively impact the overall appearance of your property, particularly if it is in an area of the country that’s impacted by persistent drought conditions, saving you time and money, for many years to come.

Artificial Grass Benefits

Benefit One – Little Time and Effort

One of the biggest advantages of a well-designed artificial turf system, once installed, your yard will look beautiful, realistic, comfortable and functional to enjoy year-round and for years to come, with little time and effort to maintain it on your part.

Following a recommended maintenance protocol consisting of brushing and light surface cleaning once or twice per month, you will spend far less time and effort compared to the requirements necessary to maintain a flawless natural lawn.

Benefit Two – Artificial Turf Saves Water

When choosing artificial turf, you conserve more water and is more sustainable than natural grass lawns. With extreme drought crises becoming common in a growing number of regions across the United States more and more property owners are opting to be a part of the solution.

It is estimated that every square foot of grass replaced with synthetic turf saves an additional 55 gallons of water per year. An average lawn size of 1,000 square feet will save 55,000 gallons of water a year if landscaped with artificial turf, with an estimated 70% of a property owners’ water bill, coming directly from their landscaping.  Not only will you be saving water, you’ll also be saving money.

Benefit Three - More Affordable Than Natural Grass

Although the precise cost of artificial turf system and installation will vary and is dependent on factors such as the size of your yard and the artificial turf product selected, over time artificial turf is less expensive than natural grass landscaping, no matter what the cost of your installation.

Because artificial turf requires an upfront cost, the initial costs of artificial grass will be recaptured in the ongoing maintenance and water savings, several years after the installation. Since our products are backed by a 15-year product warranty, your property will still be in amazing shape years after you’ve recouped the cost of installation making it clear to see that artificial turf is a smart return on the investment.
